Shipping Info & Farm Indentification Tag

To reduce turn-around time a fully complete FARM IDENTIFICATION FORM must accompany each bag of fleece arriving at Legacy Lane. Please be as specific as possible about your product and service requests. We are commited to maintaining a efficient processing schedule and reserve the right to make decisions on your behalf if instructions are not provided and you are inaccessible via phone for clarification.
Orders will be returned using the same shipping method as the client used, unless otherwise stipulated.
Shipping is not included in the processing fee. The cost of return shipping will be added to the final invoice
Contact Legacy Lane, prior to shipping, for an estimate of both shipping fees and processing time.
Fiber can be compressed with the use of vacuum bags and these bags will be returned to you with your finished products. Proper skirting and sorting is essential in reducing shipping costs, along with reducing the number of boxes used in packing. Box weight must not exceed 50 lbs.

Canada Post -
Place fleece in a plastic bag/vacuum bag before packaging in cardboard box.
To avoid oversize charges, boxes must not measure over 1 meter square.
For large boxes, it is worthwhile to ask if they qualify for Canada Post's 'volumetric weight rates'.
If you are a small business, it may be useful to inquire about Canada Post's Venture One Program which offers discounts on postage and free expedited services.
Boxes must not exceed 50 lbs.
Using several small boxes will result in costly shipping fees.

Maritime Bus -
Mark package with 'Sussex, NB' as the destination.
Include Legacy Lane's mailing address and phone number
(56 Vail Court, Sussex, NB, E4E 2R9, Canada, 506-433-5604).
Cost is based on destination and weight, not size of package.
In the past, pricing for bus lines has been comparable to Canada Post.

UPS - You can either use your own UPS account or contact us, at 506-433-5604 for account approval and arrange for pick up at your desired location.
For optimal pricing boxes must be a minimum of 20 lbs and a maxium of 40 lbs.
Place fleece in a plastic bag / vacuum bag and remove as much air as possible.

From Destinations Outside of Canada -
Mark package as "Wool sample for processing and return".
Where indicated, mark "No commercial value declared".
